This upscale aromatherapy retreat reimagines a narrow, 60-year-old historic townhouse through the lens of modern Japanese aesthetics. The project redefines the traditional spa experience by championing "privacy as the ultimate luxury," utilizing a looped vertical circulation system and secluded private zones to ensure absolute discretion from arrival to departure. Its unique spatial language draws inspiration from traditional asanoha motifs and kumiko latticework; interwoven timber lattices and fine washi paper filter natural light to cast shifting patterns across the interior, offering guests a serene sanctuary for profound physical and mental restoration.
